Chennai: TTK services Pvt Ltd, part of the TTK group, a leading Indian business
house, on February 25 announced that it had merged the (non-resident Indian) NRI
services business of the Chennai based BharatPlanet.com into its fold with the idea
of providing end-to-end services to NRIs all over the globe.
"The merger allows customers of both TTK services and BharatPlanet to a much wider
range of services for NRI's requirements in India," T T Jaganathan, chairman of TTK
group told reporters on February 25.
The merged entity would invest a sum of Rs 10 crore for adding value to the services
being provided to NRI's by the two companies at present, he said adding, that it
planned to have a presence in 15 Indian cities in the next three years.
BharatPlanet.com's present customer base of three lakh NRI's and the merger would
help these customers have better offline services from TTK services in areas of
health care of parents in India, property dealings and financial transactions, he
said.
The merged entity has been christened as TTK BharatPlanet Services Private Ltd.
