New Delhi: Hewlett Packard announced a three year strategic multi-million Dollar alliance with DreamWorks SKG to revolutionise animation, according to an official press release.

The alliance is formed to create the latest computer animation more quickly, cost effectively and with greater artistic quality, the press release said.

HP will supply technical workstations, servers, printers, networking and Linux technologies as DreamWorks develops its newest animation pipeline. HP also will receive certain rights for product and brand placement.

HP and DreamWorks have agreed to jointly explore other technologies that may translate into new products, process improvements or solutions, the release added.
