35 MFs AUM rises 2.7% in Oct
Assets under management (AUM) of 35 mutual funds rose by Rs 19,996 crore, or 2.7%, to Rs 7.54 lakh crore in October 2009 over September. According to the Association of Mutual Funds data, market leader Reliance Mutual Fund's AUM dropped by Rs 1,470 crore to Rs 1,16,782 crore. SBI Mutual Fund added the highest AUM of Rs 3,449 crore in October 2009, followed by UTI with Rs 3,259 crore and HDFC Rs 2,889 crore. Debutant Axis Mutual Fund's AUM stood at Rs 1,472 crore.
