Mumbai: Auto component maker Bosch today posted a net profit of Rs 158.20 crore for the third quarter ended September 30,a growth of 15.67 per cent from that in the corresponding period a year ago.

The company had a net profit of Rs 136.76 crore for the third quarter last fiscal, Bosch said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Total income rose to Rs 1,265.50 crore for the quarter under review, from Rs 1,081.23 crore for the same quarter last fiscal.

For the nine month ended September 30,the company posted a net profit of Rs 538.64 crore, against Rs 484.80 crore for the same period a year-ago.

Total income rose to Rs 3,717.18 crore for the nine-month period, from Rs 3,260.08 crore for the same period a year ago.

Shares of the company settled at Rs 3223.05 , up 15.08 per cent on the BSE.
