Aptech Q3 net zooms over 16-fold

Kolkata: Aptech Ltd, the global learning solutions company, today reported an over 16-fold jump in net profit at Rs 2.31 crore for the third quarter ended September 30, on strengthening of position in both domestic and overseas market.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 14,00,000 in the corresponding period last year.

The company in a statement said, the income for the quarter was up by 25 per cent to Rs 34.04 crore from 27.32 crore in the same period last fiscal.

Commenting on Aptech's performance, Aptech CEO MD Pramod Khera said, "the last quarter saw Aptech strengthening its position in Russia, Vietnam, Botswana, Ghana and Pakistan.

"Arena consolidated its leadership position both nationally and internationally in the animation multimedia training space, with the brand growing well both in student numbers and centres."

The recently launched N-Power brand grew to 35 centres, he said.
