CSE index slumps 743 points in weekly trade

Kolkata: The Calcutta stock Exchange (CSE)in the single trading session of the week lost heavily in line with the global bearish trend.

The benchmark index CSE-40 was down by 743.45 points over the previous week. The market was down by 703.31 points last week.

The index opened at 5,764.57 and closed the week at 5,021.12.

Blueprint Securities closed the week at 303.75,while Bolton Properties at Rs 390.60 and Minolta Finance at Rs 278.60.

Prime Capital Market was at Rs 278.80 on the last trading session. Risorgimento Industrial was at Rs 285.25Star Light Credit was at Rs 346.90 while Twenty First Century India closed the week at Rs 290.15.
