Coimbatore: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has set up a committee to identify the opportunities in the Insurance and Pension sector and equip members to find a new niche for themselves, Central Council Member of ICAI G Ramaswamy, said today.

The objectives of the committee is to identify the emerging professional opportunities in the Insurance and Pension sector for the members, both in practice and in service and train and equip members in insurance sector, he said. ICAI has commenced its diamond jubilee celebrations from July 1 in Delhi, he told reporters here. On new initiatives taken by ICAI, Ramaswamy said that the council has approved New Advertiseent Guidelines for the members in practice.
