Thursday, May 15, 2008 17:06 [IST]
Mumbai: Internet giant Yahoo India today announced the launch of Yahoo search marketing platform for advertisers to do more with their campaigns and gain a higher return by targeting relevant customers.

"This new product from Yahoo comes with enhanced tools and capabilities for advertisers. With this product, the quality of the advertisement can be judged prudently according to their relevance," Yahoo Inc Vice President Prashant Mehta told reporters.

With this product, clients can create an ad quickly and figure out whether it is relevant or not with the audience, he said. Yahoo is adopting a new ranking model that rewards advertisers for focusing on the things that improve a search user's experience.

"Yahoo's new technologies and features encourages more participation in the growing area of search advertising to make us a must-buy in advertisers marketing mix," Mehta said.

"We are very excited to introduce this new platform, which makes it easier for marketers to understand the performance of their campaigns and experiment more frequently with the new medium," he said.
