IVRCL Infra bags Rs 468 cr Andhra govt order

Mumbai: IVRCL Infrastructures Projects Ltd today said it has bagged orders worth Rs 468.59 crore from the irrigation and CAD department of government of Andhra Pradesh for modernisation of Godavari Delta Canal System.

The company has bagged Rs 134.35 crore order for the modernisation of Narsapur Canal, Rs 111.65 crore for Yanamadurru Drain, Rs 98.26 crore for Samalkot Canal and its distributory system and Rs 124.33 crore for the Kakinada Canal and KMJ Canal, IVRCL Infrastructures said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The scope of the order, include excavation and forming embankment for canal and channels, construction of concrete retaining walls, formation of roads on either side of canal banks among other things.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 456.65,up 2.38 per cent on BSE in the afternoon trade.
