Kolkata: ICICI Prudential Life Insurance earned a new business weighted premium of Rs 6,684 crore during the financial year 2007-08, registering a growth of 68% over the last year.

The corresponding new business annualised premium equivalent for FY08 stood at Rs 6,519 crore, registering a growth of 49% over the last year.
The company crossed the 7 million policies mark during FY08.
