Coimbatore: Kingfisher Airlines would launch its service on six new sectors including two daily direct flights from Chennai to Coimbatore.

Effective from April 14,the company would offer two daily direct flights from Chennai to Coimbatore using brand new ATR aircraft featuring personalised in-flight entertainment on every seat, gourment cuisine and world class service, a Kingfisher release said here today.

For the first time,it would offer a daily same day return flight between Delhi and Chandigarh and a daily direct flight between Delhi and Goa, it said.

It would also add one more daily direct flight between Delhi and Hyderabad taking the total number of daily flights on that route to three a day.

The company would also launch a daily direct flight from Mumbai to Chandigarh and between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The launch of services to Chandigarh marks the launch of operations for the company in Chandigarh.

With the launch of these new services, Kingfisher will now have 250 departures a day and will serve 39 destinations with a fleet of 42 brand new aircraft, the release claimed.
