Rupee opens weaker against dollar

Mumbai: The Rupee today opened slightly weaker against US Dollar at 39.90/91 from its previous close of 39.88/89 per dollar, on negative global cues.

The Indian currency was trading in a wide range band of 39.82 and 39.98 against greenback in a fairly active interbanks foreign exchange (Forex) market in the early trade, dealers said.
