Friday, March 28, 2008 22:02 [IST]
New Delhi: LG Electronics has joined hands with major retailers in the country to strengthen its personal computer business.

The company has tied up with companies like Croma, Reliance Digital, Metro Cash and Carry, Jumbo Electronics, Hypercity, Next, E zone and others and also developing exclusive models for them.

"Retail, being the focus for the year, is seeing increased display range in large format stores as far as LG PCs are concerned," LG Electronics India Director (Sales and Marketing) V Ramachandran said in a statement.

"Consumers enjoy the touch and feel factor as far as electronic items are concerned. Also, it is encouraging for the partners to see the expansion in retail forte," he added.

LG Electronics India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of South Korean LG Electronics, has achieved a turnover of Rs 9,500 crore in 2007, the statement said.
