Govt to decide on FDI cap on brand retailing

New Delhi: The government today said it expects to come out with the decision on changing the FDI cap on single brand retailing in a month's time.

"We are waiting for the report of the study we had commissioned. The report is expected to come out in a month and the decision of the FDI cap will be taken after that," Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath told reporters on the sidelines of a conference here.

The FDI cap on Single Brand Retailing currently stands at 51 per cent.
