Evalueserve to increase headcount by 1,000
Monday, March 10, 2008 19:29 [IST]
Gurgaon: Global research and analytics firm Evalueserve today said it will add another 1,000 employees to its India team by the end of this year, besides planning to open another 1000-seater office in the country by June.

Currently, the firm employs 1,950 people in India.

To tap the local talent pool the firm today inaugurated its new office in Noida with a capacity of 400 seat.

"This new office in Noida is aimed at reducing travel time for the employees living in this zone of the National Capital Region and increase their work-life balance. It will also give us access to a wider talent pool considering the firm is growing at a very fast pace and hiring 100 employees every month," Evalueserve COO Ashish Gupta said.

This facility would be followed by another office in a SEZ zone of Gurgoan, which hosts a capacity of another 1000 people, he added.

The company is also scouting for acquisitions to add new capabilities.

"We are looking at global companies with specialisations in KPO and research for acquisitions," he added. However, he declined to give further details of its acquisition plans.

The company is also planning to launch a delivery centre in Eastern Europe shortly and would explore English speaking labour intensive countries for its growth in the next three years.

Evaluserve, which provides custom research and analytics services to companies worldwide, has over 2,100 professionals located in research centres in Chile, India, China and New York.
