Mumbai:  J.P. Chalasani, former director (business development) of Reliance Energy Ltd, has taken over as CEO of Reliance Power Ltd.

According to a statement issued by the company, Chalasani has tendered his resignation from the board of Reliance Energy Ltd with effect from March 7.
