Mumbai: Sensex closes at 15,923, down 51 pts

Earlier, the benchmark of Bombay Stock Exchange Sensex today opened 449 pts down at 15,526 pts. Major stocks like ICICI Bank, Hindalco, Reliance Energy, SBI, ACC, Infosys and L&T failed to show good opening.

Nifty also opened 127 pts down at 4,644 pts.
