Thursday, February 21, 2008 15:07 [IST]

New Delhi: Infiniti Retail, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Sons, Thursday said it was going to concentrate on Indian metros.

"We are currently concentrating on the metros. In the coming fiscal we will be entering Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata," Ajit Joshi, CEO and managing director, told reporters on the sidelines of a retail conclave here on Thursday.

The retail meet is organised by KAS Technopak India Pvt Ltd, a service provider to retailers and suppliers.

Infiniti Retail runs electronics store Croma and has a sourcing agreement with Australian retail company Woolworths Ltd.

It currently has 15 stores in Ahmedabad, Surat, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore and New Delhi.

"We will be opening 20 stores in Delhi and NCR (national capital region) by 2010," Joshi said.
