Tirupati: The Chennai-based G R Thangamaligai (GRT) has opened its first showroom in the temple town, its first outlet in Andhra Pradesh.

According to a release here, 'GRT Jewellers', recognised by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) for the purity of its gold jewels, opened the largest showroom with the finest collection of gold, diamond and ruby jewellery.

Another showroom was likely to come up at Hyderabad within six months, its General Manager N Nagarethnam said.

GRT group founder-Chairman G Rajendran had set a 'GRT tradition' of 'value for money', commitment to quality and excellent customer service, the release added.
