Akola: Business establishments and shops in Akola will observe a bandh on February 5,Vidarbha Chamber of Commerce and Industry said today.

The bandh call is given by the organisation in support of demand to abolish octroi from the state, Ashok Gupta, President, VCCI said here today.

There are 11 D class muncipal corporations in the state that have jointly decided to observe total bandh on Feb 5 for abolishing the octroi, he added.
