Mumbai: Knowledge process outsourcing firm eClerx today witnessed a robust response from investors on debut trade with its shares closing at Rs 448.30 at a premium of 42.32 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The scrip opened at Rs 320, touched an intra-day high of Rs 466.80 and over 65.38 lakh shares changed hands on the bourse. Similarly on the National Stock Exchange, the scrip touched a high of Rs 467.50 before closing at Rs 448.40 and over 93.16 lakh shares got traded. The company listed 1,88,68,849 equity shares at an issue price of Rs 315 per share.
The issue proceeds would be utilised for augmenting working capital and expand production capacity by setting up manufacturing facilities in India, China and the Middle East. Meanwhile, real estate firm Brigade Enterprises Ltd on its debut trade parted with 2.93 per cent discount at Rs 378.55 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs 399.70,touched an intra-day high of Rs 409.40 and over 47.91 lakh shares got traded.
Similarly on the NSE, the scrip closed at Rs 379.90 after touching a high of Rs 489.90. A total of 66.88 lakh shares changed hands on the bourse. The Bangalore-based firm listed 11,08,31,455 shares on the bourses at an issue price of Rs 390. The company would utilise the issue proceeds to fund its future growth plans.
