Radio Mirchi to launch in Mangalore tomorrow
Friday, November 23, 2007 17:48 [IST]

Mangalore: Private FM radio operator Radio Mirchi is all set to launch its 28th operating station here tomorrow.

"It is the first private FM station in Mangalore and is all set to offer the most creative yet localised content for the city," Radio Mirchi Station Head Kiran Kumar told reporters here today.

Mangalore would now wake up to Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM with loads of humour and gossip packaged with great music all the days, he said.

The content would be a blend of Kannada, Hindi and Tulu. "We expect the style of programming of Radio Mirchi to revitalise radio in Mangalore, just the way we have been able to win the loyalty of listeners in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and other cities," he added.

Radio Mirchi enjoys a leadership position in 27 cities and broadcasts on a common frequency of 98.3 FM across the country with over 22 million listeners, he said.
