Radio Mirchi to go on air soon in Coimbatore

Coimbatore: Radio Mirchi, one of the favourite FM services in the Country, would go on air soon in the city, as a Diwali gift.

"The Hot FM radio station promises to take the city by storm by playing chartbuster Tamil songs for the people of Coimbatore," Vinay Prashant, station head, Radio Mirchi, told reporters here today.

On programems, he said the city will wake up with a good morning call on filter kaapi, followed by hello Coimbatore, a charged up breakfast show, ladies colony, for the women of today, Kolly Udaans, for the latest Kollywood gossip, joot on daily happening and mind blowing weird stuff, mirchi nites, and Dr. Love for love dedications.

Coimbatore will be the 27th Fm station for Radio Mirchi. Vinay said that the company, Entertainment Network (India) Ltd, would roll out five more radio stations--Mangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Surat, Raipur and Vijayawada--by the end of this year.
