Mumbai:  The US Dollar edged up against the rupee at Rs 44.6950/7050 per dollar and the Pound Sterling also finished higher at Rs 86.43/45 per pound at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (FOREX) market here yesterday (Nov 24,2006).
